Music 4 the Soul II - 2008

Just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who participated in the Music 4 the Soul team 2008. It's all over now, and all being well everyone is back home or enjoying a few days holiday; with the exception of those who are trying to get over illness. Sorry to those of you who would have loved to be here again this year but were unable to make it; although we had a great time, we did miss you all!

m4ts - II

And we're off ! Today we begin pratcising the songs for Music 4 the Soul II (2008). As you can see the first concert this year is planned for Château-Gontier, this Friday at 20h30. God willing we'll have a decent sized public in the Foyer Rural which can take up to 300 people! Then we have a concert at a church in Vitré, followed by an open-air concert in the north of Mayenne, at le Vieux Présbytère, Le Horps.

If you could spare a thought and a prayer for us, that would be great. We have 12 team members + Reign, Heidi & Noah, and the regular GLO team.

I'll keep you posted as to how we're getting on ;-)

And here it is, the one you've all been waiting for! This is also the last m4ts 2007 video I'll post on the blog as I've finally going to be able to burn the DVD tonight, which has the whole Mortagne-au -Perche concert. It also has a large part of the video Dave put together from the m4ts PowerPoint. If any one would like a copy, just let me know, but preferably sooner rather than later as we'll be in the UK soon and the postage will be cheaper!!!

I've finally managed to get a few more videos ready. But just so you know, all the videos are available on YouTube, DailyMotion and also www.veoh.com, a site which lets you upload DivX videos and presents them in a slightly better quality. You can also download in DivX format instead of the Flash Video. Happy viewing, and I hope you're all doing good.

Hi - I first tried this using power point, but the files were much two big, to load and share, so I've down some work with a free video software to come up with this, it's has the same feel, but so much easier to share. Dave

At long last our video camera started to work again, so I've managed to get the video of the concert at Mortagne onto the computer.

Here is the first installment ! Hope you enjoy it and that it brings back happy memories ;-)

a blated Happy New Year! I hope you are all well. Our outreach work here in Glasgow is finally starting to take shape and I am also preparing to go to Peru possibly next year for my language placement which is terrifying and exciting at the same time! I am not sure whether I can make it this year to the beautiful Laval as I will be working full time to pay for this adventure. Im gutted. Im sure it will be as brill as last year. However my friend is thinking about joining you guys and she is an amazin pianist. I hope your 2008 will fantastic.
